Continue to collect information for each paragraph
Fill in the draft S.E.X.Y paragraph template in yout Top Town Doc - Click here for inquiry paragraph outline help

Once your draft paragraphs are done, create a new Google doc - This is your Good Copy of you report. Copy and paste your S.E.X.Y draft paragraphs, and add a conclusion and introduction to your report (see the top town templte doc on how to do this).

4) Gmail Clean-up: Open you Gmail inbox, open all important unread emails. Delete the rest. Fill out any student inquiry surveys.

At 1.50 we will run a game outside or students can stay inside and finish off any work or play a Kahoot quiz.

Literacy - The Outsiders - vocabulary activity

For this pre-reading activity you will be finding word definitions, quotations in the novel and filling in blanks using the word list.

Literacy - The Outsiders (chapter reading)

Literacy - Quizlet vocabulary - The Outsiders (Chapter 1).  Do this activity for 15-20 mins before continuing with your reading.




When you have worked on this activity for 15-20 minutes, you will now open  your ‘The Outsiders’ workbook - to do this:
  • open your google drive
  • open your classroom folder
  • then click open 'The Outsiders' workbook
Scroll down to Task 6 to open both text and audio to read through the book from chapters 1-3.  If text book link is wrong, you can use the link below.





TASK 6:  Listen & Read


Learning Outcome:  Students will be able to follow the text while listening to the audio and comprehending main ideas in the story.

Students will now be reading the book.  You will need to open the text book, play and listen to the audio, following the text and answer these questions for each chapter….wow!  multi-tasking I know


Type in the answers after questions:
Remember to answer using full sentence answers e.g:  Ponyboy and his friends and family come from ……
