Here is an overview/summary of the 'Outsiders' novel

Example:

~Creative Writing~

Topic/part of story: When Johnny was in hospital

“Darry? Ponyboy?” I shrieked. Thoughts of where I was flew through my mind. The thought of death popped into my mind. Thinking about it made me think ‘If I die, it will be worth it in the end. Saving those kids is better than leaving them to die. They have a long life ahead of them and I want them to live than I want myself to live’. The doctor looked at me. She had brown hair with blue eyes and she had a nice smile. She started to walk over to me. “Johnny? Are you awake?” Asked the doctor. Yeah, but my head hurts a little and I am starting to feel a little sick. I replied with a cough. My head was throbbing with pain and I was starting to feel like I was gonna throw up.

A light flashed before my eyes, I saw someone move towards. The figure moved closer and closer. I took another deep breath and cuddled on to my blanket tighter. I closed my eyes and hoped everything would be alright. I was more terrified than ever before. Then all of a sudden, the figure was standing in front of me. It was my mother.
