The 2016 Olympics are starting TOMORROW! Please use this time to learn more about the Olympics and complete the following tasks on your blog

2. Choose one of the following symbols used in the Olympics and explain why this is a symbol and what it represents. (a) Olympic rings (b) Olympic torch
3. Choose a New Zealander who is competing in a sport that interests you. Write a paragraph on them. Include where they are from, if they have competed or won any medals in previous Olympics, and an interesting fact about them! This link has all New Zealand athletes in the Olympics
