Friday 10th June - Inquiry Stage 2 is due.
By now you should have completed the following:
Planning - Stage 1
- Brainstormed and decided on a Fertile Question
- Created 4 Key Questions that will source information from a survey, interview and online research
Collecting information sources - Stage 2
- Planned and sent a Google form survey [this must be checked before sending]
- Online research - Gathered secondary sources of information from multiple online sources
- Planned an interview
- Identified who you will interview and made contact with interviewee(s)
- Conducted your interview and have recorded responses in your 'Inquiry stage 2' document
Finished all of the above? WELL DONE!
You should now look to analyse your survey responses.
You can start your summary by explaining what was the purpose of your survey and how many responses you got.
Eg "My survey was aimed at teenagers and their consumption of sugar. 77 people responded to my survey."
You need to look over the data you have collected and create statements that summarise the important information relevant to your key questions.
Eg "80% of teenagers believe they consume too much sugar on a daily basis."
or "I asked the question 'what is the harmful effects of eating sugar?', the three most popular answers were 'you get fat', 'sugar rots your teeth' and 'you have sugar highs and lows'.
