Report Writing

This week is all about completing your report using the information you have sourced from your survey, interview and online research.

You need to have one paragraph per key question. Use all relevant information you have sourced to answer each question.

You need to plan each paragraph in the stage 3 document, then put it all together (including intro, conclusion and reference list) as a final report.

S.E.X.Y Paragraph structure:

S - Statement: Say what key question you will answer in the paragraph

E - Evidence: Identify where you/how you collected the information for this paragraph (e.g. google form, interview with….. Or what websites did you gather information from)

E - Example: What did you find out? Write a paragraph on the information you found.

Y - Why: Write a conclusion sentence about how this information relates to you fertile question.

(E.g. This paragraph shows people’s opinion on whether Kawerau should build a new tourist attraction)
