Monday 13th June - Inquiry

Week 7

Please check the planner to see what you should have completed by now and what you need to work on next.

Self Reflection: Are you...

  • Managing your time well?

  • Taking responsibility of your learning?

  • Taking responsibility of your achievement and success?

  • Are you doing your very best?

  • Could you do better? If yes, what needs to change?

If you have not completed a survey click here
If you have not completed an interview click here
If you need a template for a writing an email interview click here
If you have not gathered secondary sources you need to!

If you have been managing your time well and taking responsibility for your learning you will be now ready to start planning for your report!

You should now look to analyse your survey responses.

You can start your summary by explaining what was the purpose of your survey and how many responses you got.
Eg "My survey was aimed at teenagers and their consumption of sugar. 77 people responded to my survey."

You need to look over the data you have collected and create statements that summarise the important information relevant to your key questions.
Eg "80% of teenagers believe they consume too much sugar on a daily basis."
or "I asked the question 'what is the harmful effects of eating sugar?', the three most popular answers were 'you get fat', 'sugar rots your teeth' and 'you have sugar highs and lows'.

Record this in your 'stage 2' document on the last page under 'Notes / Extras'
