Do you want to gain an internationally recognised award while at school?
Do you want help to get a job and boost your CV?
The Duke of Ed award scheme is a great opportunity to gain new skills, develop your fitness or sport skills, help others, and go on fun outdoor adventure with others!
There are three awards: Bronze, Silver and Gold.
You can start Bronze when you are 14 years old. There are 4 aspects of the award that you will need to complete: Physical Recreation, Skills, Service, and Adventurous Journey.
You will need to work on the physical recreation, skill and service in your own time throughout the year. The adventurous journey will be a four day tramp organised and run all together by Mrs Woodgate and Miss Hoskins. You will need to come on the OPC trip in term three in order to complete the requirements for the adventurous journey.
If you are interested and willing to commit please fill out the google form below by Friday 6th of May.

You need to choose between ‘skill’, ‘physical recreation’ or ‘service’ as to what one you will do for 6 months and which two you will do for 3 months each.
Skill: Completed for a minimum of 3 or 6 months averaging 1 hour per week. Needs to be signed off by an adult who has considerable knowledge/experience in the field.
